ON THE SHORE

Do you like sea-gulls? I totally do!!! They are the Punks of the air - little bit stupid but always in the front row when food is serving.. So this is an remittance work commissioned by my girlfriend. She likes to get her old - by the way: not very inspiring - painting off the wall of her bedroom. Well, and for that reason she asked me to paint a picture which fits more than the removed one. The only condition was that the picture has to contain at least one or two sea-gulls; that's because she likes them too. And so I did this piece of art - in relatively unusual dimensions: height is 50 cm (19,69 inches) while the width has the amount of amazingly 205 cm (which are 80,71 inches!). Isn't that crazy ;o) As I mentioned the role of my girlfriend into that, it is clear that this one couldn't go out to anyone because it's already hanging on her bedroom wall. Sorry for that but I thought that it was necessary to post it because I like this one a quite more than my other outputs.

Wer mag Möwen? Ich auf jeden Fall! Möwen sind die Punks der Lüfte - zwar ein wenig bescheuert, aber wenn's um's Fressen geht, immer in der ersten Reihe zu finden.. Das hier gezeigte Bild war eine Auftragsarbeit meiner Freundin. Selbige hatte das uninspirierte Bild in ihrem Schlafzimmer satt und wünschte sich eine quasi in sich ruhende Komposition mit der einzigen Maßgabe, dass mindestens eine oder zwei Möwen Berücksichtigung finden. Letztendlich sind es sogar drei geworden..;o) Das ungewöhnliche Format von insgesamt 205 cm Breite bei gerade einmal 50 cm Höhe gab mir die Freiheit, eine gewisse horizontal gedämpfte Stimmung zu erzeugen. Wie ich schon erwähnte, ist dieses Bild bereits in erster Hand und deshalb nicht käuflich erhältlich - es gefällt mir aber recht gut, weshalb ich mich entschloss, ihm einen Post zu widmen.

TRANSIT II

So this is the follow-up to 'TRANSIT I'. Such a long time had passed since I released a fresh painting. Although it's finished now! It's format is quite unusual - you're facing a width of 59,06 inches while the height is only 11,81 inches. Interpretation on this is left to your imagine. Best thing about is, that it is still available! €95,00 is the (bargain) price. Sorry, I forgot to mention that it was done with acrylic paint on canvas.

Lang, lang ist's her, dass ich hier ein neues Bild präsentieren konnte - aber hier ist es nun: der Nachfolger von 'TRANSIT I'. Das Außergewöhnlichste daran ist sicher das Format - 150cm Breite sehen sich einer Höhe von lediglich 30cm gegenüber. Das Wichtigste ist: man kann es kaufen! Für nur €95,00 verlässt es mein Haus. Ach so, Acrylfarbe auf Leinwand auf Keilrahmen.

SELBSTPORTRAIT PROFILSCHNITT PREUSSISCHBLAU

The quality of this work shown is of very poor as I know. I reproduced this by making partly scans of it because the heights is about 27,56 inches facing a width of 11,81 inches. I made this one as a present for my mother to her birthday three years ago. It shows me in the profile sight; surrounded by some colourful expressions. Surely made with acrylic paint on canvas and - of course -not available.

Die Qualität der hier gezeigten Reproduktion ist zugegebenermaßen etwas dürftig - das Ding passte einfach nicht komplett unter meinen Scanner..;o) Dieses Teil war ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Mutter vor drei Jahren und zeigt meinen Gesichtsprofilschnitt umrahmt von fast schon psychedelich anmutenten Farbvariationen. Wie fast alles von mir auf Leinwand auf Keilrahmen gefertigt - Acrylfarbe war hierbei das gängige Medium. Die Größe ist etwas außergewöhnlich mit den Abmaßen 30cm x 70cm. Natürlich nicht mehr erhältlich.

NEBULÖSES C

'Nebulous C', for which is this one named for, is just another miniature - following the heights of 3,94 inches by a widhts of 5,91 inches. It's mainly referred to the magnificent work of dutch painter PIET MONDRIAN! Piet is for me - for my poor skills to painting art - one of my very FAVOURITES! With his conducting of geomatrical forms he has overwhelmed me to this very point. So it's no wonder that this one shows another miniature done first by pencil, then using felt tip pen to do the lines - but the background itself is made from acrylic paint. The whole work is made on canvas on wooden plate. Measures of this one as like almost all of my miniatures: 5,91 inches wide by respecting a heights of 3,94 inches. Well see, this one is still available!!! If you beg this one to be YOURS, you only have to pay 25,00 € to me!!! Well that's the best money can buy...;o)

'Nebulöses C' ist in erster Linie von einem meiner unbestreitbaren Vorbilder inspiriert - namentlich dem Holländer PIET MONDRIAN! So stellt diese Miniatur in der Größe 15cm x 10cm zwar eine Reminiszenz an o.g. Künstler dar, vermag dessen 'geometrische' Genialität jedoch nur in sehr rudimentären Ansätzen wider zu geben. Der Hintergrung ist mit Acrylfarbe angefertigt, während die Strukturen im Vordergrund erst mit Bleistift vorgezeichnet und anschließend in einer Mischung aus Fineliner und Acrylfarbe vollendet wurden. Hej, das Teil gibt es noch zu kaufen! 25,00 € wäre der Kaufpreis für diese Miniatur, die mit auf Malplatte aufgespannter Leinwand daher kommt.

HARVEST

'Harvest', for this, is a very less interesting picture. I had done this through my 'starting phase'. The reproduction also isn't any of that kind that you would call "focused right"...;o) Although it isn't available - was a present. Width is 11,81 inches while the heights is 9,84 of this measure. It's done with oil colour on canvas.

'Harvest', zu deutsch 'Ernte', ist eines der eher vernachlassungswerten Wekr von mir. Davon abgesehen, dass die Reproduktion sehr zu wünschen übrig lässt, stellt diese Arbeit auch nicht mehr als eine Studie während meiner sehr frühen Phase dar. Wie auch immer, die Diskussion um die Erhältlichkeit des Bildes stellt sich hier glücklicherweise nicht - es ist bzw. war ein Geschenk und ist damit 'out of order';o) Damals noch in Ölfarben gemalt hat dieses Bild auf Leinwand die Maße 30cm x 25cm.

FAUNA

Well, this is my very first! Somehow, this one was planned as an 17-piece or moreever constructed painting - but this is (unfortunately) what's left of this: a four piece artwork made of four additional pieces drawing oil colour on canvas which was pinned on cardboard. Seize of each from this four pieces is 7,87 inches squared and it is still available for the amount of just 80,00 €.

Okay - das hier war das erste Bild, dass ich je gemalt habe. Ursprünglich war es als 17-teilige Komposition gedacht - was aber irgendwie schief ging und deshalb in dieser vierteiligen Arbeit vollendet wurde.. Die Maße der einzelnen Malplatten sind 20cm im Quadrat und als Farbe habe ich Öl benutzt. Das Werk ist nach wie vor für 80,00 € erhältlich.
